American Airlines flight staff and passengers were forced to subdue an unruly passenger after he reportedly made attempts to enter the plane's cockpit as well as open one of the plane's emergency exit doors.
The man also allegedly used the flights plastic silverware as a weapon during the struggle. A coffee pot along with zip ties and duck tape were used to subdue the man. Multiple passengers offered their help to the flight staff in taking down the threatening passenger.
The flight, originally scheduled to travel from Los Angeles to Washington D.C., was forced to make an emergency landing in Kansas City, Missouri where the man was taken into custody.
