An Icelandic photographer named Sigfús Steindórsson captured fantastic footage over the weekend of a local eruption from roughly 12 miles away.
The video description reads: "I went to my balcony to film again after hearing there were really huge lava fountains spewing around midnight local time, and lo and behold I caught the 2 biggest ones, filmed around 2am."
I don't know about you but if I can an eruption like that from MY HOUSE, you best believe I'm looking to move. For native Icelanders however, this is probably just another Sunday.
