OMG YUM. Famed chef Roy Choi is gracing Los Angeles with a three-day Flamin’ Hot Cheetos pop-up restaurant in Los Angeles and phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, September 19, and dished to Ryan the inspiration behind the dishes and more.
“We took over a whole restaurant right on Cahuenga and Hollywood and the whole place turns into a Hot Cheeto spot,” Choi explained of the three-day only pop-up in Los Angeles. “I took [restaurants] Kogi and Chego! and looked through the lens of Hot Cheetos … [and] we made it real.”
So what’s on the drool-worthy, mouth-watering menu? Choi explained he took all the faves from Kogi and Chego!
“It’s out of this world, man,” Choi dished, adding his favorite is probably the Flamin’ Hot elote.
