Heavy snow and some icy conditions mixed with high winds may cause power outages. Here is information regarding Unitil on the Seacoast. Officials urge you not to call 911 to report a power outage, instead, contact the energy provider directly. 

Report outages to Unitil at 800-582-7276 (Seacoast area) or 800-852-3339 (Capital-area).

Dover:

Due to the anticipated snow arriving this weekend, a citywide (Dover) parking ban has been declared. With the exception of the downtown, the ban begins at 10 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, and concludes at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 22. The ban will be in effect downtown on Sunday, Jan. 20, from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m., and on Monday, Jan. 21, from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. While in effect, no parking is permitted on city streets, sidewalks or adjacent public parking areas. Rochester:

A Snow Emergency is Declared in Rochester. This includes a parking ban.

SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARATION WINTER PARKING BAN IN EFFECT: January 19, 2019 at 9PM through January 21, 2019 at 10AM. Due to the severe storm conditions expected there is a Citywide Parking ban in effect as of 9pm on Saturday January 19, 2019 Through Monday 10am Junuary 21, 2019.  Short term parking for open business patrons will be exempt.  

ALL CITY STREETS MUST BE CLEAR OF PARKED CARS NO VEHICLE WITHOUT AN EXEMPTION PERMIT MAY BE PARKED ON CITY STREETS OR IN CITY PARKING LOTS DURING THIS TIME PERIOD
