The end of such a memorable time has come to an end...Microsoft's Internet Explorer has officially been retired.
According to KTLA 5, Microsoft officially disabled the internet browser for desktops, which was first launched back in 1995. 1995! That is so crazy. Internet Explorer had 11 versions with the latest one coming out in 2013 but the browser became so outdated which lead to this decision.
“The change to use Microsoft Edge update to disable IE is intended to provide a better user experience and help organizations transition their last remaining IE11 (Internet Explorer 11) users to Microsoft Edge,” Microsoft said.
Microsoft did bring about a new internet browser for Windows users called Microsoft Edge in 2015. If anyone now tries to open up Internet Explorer they will be redirected to Microsoft Edges web browser instead. What internet browser do you use?
