This week the Disneyland Resort gave us a sneak peak at their new restaurant - Tiana's Place - which is based from "The Princess and the Frog" movie.
“Tiana’s Palace is sure to be a gathering place for friends and family to enjoy great food and celebrate together, just like Tiana and her father James dreamed of,” the Disney Parks Blog said.
The French Market restaurant and Mint Julep bar are set to close on February 17th so the rest of the process on the restaurant can be made. If you love the Mint Julep bar, don't worry because it will reopen right alongside to the new restaurant later this year. Tiana's Place will offer a "quick service menu inspired by New Orleans flavors, expand on current fan-favorite dishes and explore seasonal options." And of course the Disney Imagineers will be working hard with Disney animation from the movie to bring Tiana's Place to life. How cute! Now with this being said, it won't be a character dining spot but Princess Tiana might pop up here and there at the New Orleans Square. Are you excited for Tiana's Place?! Click here for more.
