Flash Flood Watches Issued For SoCal Residents During Strong Rain Storm

Mandatory evacuations were issued for about 30,000 people in areas of high-risk debris flow in preparation of what could be the "strongest storm of the season" for Southern California residents.

Due to the recent fires which left very clear burn marks throughout SoCal, the rain becomes much more dangerous for residents living close to the affected areas.

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles issued flash flood watches for areas across Southern California until late Thursday night.

The National Weather Service predicts rainfall totals of up to 5 - 10 inches in the foothills and mountains.
