According to Jessie the Parrot's owner, if you want to bond with her, all you have to do is say, "I love you."
So, that's what a London firefighter did while attempting to rescue Jessie, who was stuck on a roof for 3 days straight. And how did Jessie respond?
She said, "I love you" back -- followed by a string of swears before flying off to a different rooftop, then a tree, before eventually returning home on her own. Her owner also posted a video of Jessie saying "I love you" to the firefighters who tried rescuing her, too.
Best. Failed. Rescue. Attempt. Ever.
