Vogue Magazine's September issue is apparently iconic (not even going to pretend like I know why), which basically makes it a huge deal.
It just got made into an even bigger deal, though, because Beyonce has been given "unprecedented control" over the issue, basically becoming editor-in-chief for this one issue. She's going to cover the September issue and has hired the first black photographer for the shoot in the 126-year history of Vogue Magazine.
Go ahead and tell me Beyonce is Queen -- I'll wait.
Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour gave Beyoncé unprecedented control over the cover of the upcoming September issue, sources say, and the music icon hired the first black photographer to shoot a cover in the publication’s 126-year history. https://t.co/Jy0h5ycgqy— HuffPost (@HuffPost) July 30, 2018
