Joe Jonas may have wanted to send out an S.O.S. after dealing with an awkward interaction immediately after an intimate encounter.
In a new "Are You Okay?" interview with NowThis, the Jonas Brothers singer detailed an "embarrassing memory that keeps [him] up at night." He explained how he seemingly caught the love bug on a flight a few years ago and became a member of the mile high club; however, when he was heading back to his seat, he mistook the friend he was attempting to high five for someone else, per Page Six.
"I joined the mile high club a couple years ago. I was wearing contacts, left the bathroom," he said in a video shared to TikTok. "I thought I was high-fiving my drummer. After the high five, I realized it was the flight attendant."
Despite the unfortunate timing, Jonas is looking on the bright side — at least it didn't happen on a regular flight.
"It was a private flight, or I would be banned from flying," he said, quickly admitting that the experience was "worth it" even with the poorly-timed high five.
Fans in the comments were loving Jonas' honesty, with one commenter joking, "i love whatever is wrong with him," and another writing, "Joe having no filter is the best thing ever."
The Music for People Who Believe in Love singer's lack of filter also recently paid off for fans when he accidentally revealed a major secret, surprising even his own brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.
