Lewis Capaldi is still riding the high from his successful comeback following his hiatus.

The "Someone You Loved" singer stopped by The Tonight Show on Monday (July 14) where he spoke to host Jimmy Fallon about his triumphant set at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival last month that marked his return to live performances after a two-year break, per People.

Capaldi admitted that he thought he had made a "terrible decision" before taking the stage, two years after his last set at the iconic festival in England, but the experience ended up being "really beautiful and lovely" and "probably the best day of my life." After a day like that, what could possibly top that feeling? According to the Scottish musician, he can only think of one thing, and even then it seems like it could still be a toss up.

"Until... I assume when I have a child, I'll be like, well, 'Maybe Glastonbury was still better,'" he said.

After Capaldi's performance at Glastonbury in 2023, he announced that he had made "the most difficult decision of my life" to cancel shows "for the foreseeable future" to focus on his mental health. Last week, he reflected on how this dedication, including going to therapy, helped him "be a musician" again following his break, noting how he "can't over emphasize how important therapy has been over the last few years in getting me back to a place where I feel ready and able to get on stage again."
