Matthew McConaughey recently posted a "secret" Instagram video shouting out his wife, Camila Alves, on her 42nd birthday.
The post in question features footage of Alves walking into a silent, concrete room, with just her silhouette in focus. McConaughey added the words, "the real deal" and "thank you" to the clip, reminding the world (once again) of the love he has for his forever plus one.
The Gold actor wished Alves a happy birthday in the caption and she reposted the sweet tribute to her Instagram Story, mentioning that she was surprised to see the clip on her feed as he didn't tell her he was posting it.
"When your Husband doesn't share what he's posting until you see it out...! This is very sweet baby!"
The pair, who wed in 2012 (per Hello! Magazine), share children Levi, 16, Vida, 15, and Livingston, 12, and currently live in Austin, Texas. In November, the actor revealed that he and Alves made a pact years ago to leave Hollywood and move to his home state after years of being pigeonholed into romantic comedies when he wanted to transition into action films.
"I'm not going back to work unless I get offered roles I want to do," McConaughey assured his wife amid her continued support.
