Demi Lovato is raving about her fiancé Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, and how they have "waited [their] whole life" to have a supportive partner like him.
The "Confident" singer, who uses she/they pronouns, recently appeared at the premiere of her directorial debut Child Star in Hollywood wearing matching all-black outfits with her fiancé, whom she gushed over to People and praised for his support during big milestones such as her new documentary.
"You know, I've waited my whole life for him and to have him be a part of this just makes it that much more sweet," Lovato said, adding that his support means "everything to me."
"It's very grounding to have a partner that is so supportive, so loving, so caring," Lovato added. "And so, you know, it's very easy to stay centered with him because I just — I love him so much and he treats me so amazing."
Lovato and Jutes, who met while writing Lovato's song "Substance," confirmed their relationship in August 2022 and got engaged in December 2023. They shared the exciting news that left them "speechless" alongside a photo of their gorgeous engagement ring.
"My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you.. every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you baby 🥰"
