Three Spirit Airline employees were beaten up by three women who were trying to board a flight to Philadelphia from Fort Lauderdale International Airport. . The Spirit employees suffered minor injuries after the airline said the passengers, “became combative following a delayed flight.”
The women threw cell phones, shoes, full water bottles, metal boarding signs, and fast food at the employees before they were arrested and charged with battery charges in connection to the violent encounter.

“This violent behavior is completely unacceptable and has absolutely no place in airports or any other place of business,” the airline said in a statement. “We will not tolerate abusive behavior of any kind.”
Philadelphia residents Tymaya Wright, 20; Danaysha Dixon, 22; and Keira Ferguson, 21, were arrested and reportedly charged with battery.
