Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer Postpone Summer Tour Until 2021

Green Day announced via Twitter on Tuesday morning that the bands "Hella Mega Tour" North American tour scheduled for this summer has been postponed until 2021.

The band was set to hit the road this month to begin the tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been forced to postpone like so many other artists this year.

The band says, "We'll be announcing Summer 2021 dates with the same venues very soon, so hold on to those tickets. All ticket holders will be emailed directly with refund options as well."

New englanders were exited the show was coming to Fenway Park on August 27th as part of a massive Fenway Concert Series lineup that included Aerosmith, Motley Crue and Def Leppard "Stadium Tour', and so many others.

Now speculation grows about the future of these big concerts in August and September as two dates on the "Stadium Tour" in June were cancelled this week.
