Guests At Five-Star Hotels Are Stealing Mattresses Says Survey

If you've stayed at a high-end hotel, chances are you probably pocketed an extra bottle of shampoo. Perhaps the bolder among us have packed the fancy robe, maybe a towel or two. According to Wellness Heaven, a hotel and spa reviewer, the more luxurious the lodgings, the larger the items stolen from the rooms. Surveying four-star hotels, Wellness Haven found that the remote control batteries went missing more often, while at five-star places, coffee makers and TVs have walked away. In some cases, guests will try to take the mattresses at night when the reception is closed. Wellness Haven CEO Tassilo Keilmann notes that many of these upper-end chains won't call the police so they aren't associated with crime. What has gone missing from your hotel room after a stay?
