Drew Barrymore is getting her own daytime talk show!

As Variety reports, the actress' show was picked up by CBS after filming a pilot in August and is set to launch in Fall 2020.

“It is beyond my wildest dreams to have this opportunity for a daily talk show,” Barrymore said in a statement. “I’m truly thrilled and honored to be creating this show with CBS.”

CBS Chief Operating and Financial Officer Steve LoCascio announced the news on Thursday (October 10). “Drew is a huge star and a breath of fresh air — her show will energize any station’s lineup," he said. "We’re looking forward to working with Peter Dunn and the CBS Television Stations group to launch this premium show in fall 2020.”

This isn't the first time the 44-year-old has pursued daytime TV. Back in 2016, she was in talks with Warner Bros. Telepictures about a talk show, but the project never came to fruition. Barrymore is the latest in a list of celebrities to score their own daytime talk shows. Kelly Clarkson recently launched The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The news comes at a good time for Barrymore, whose Netflix show The Santa Clarita Diet was recently canceled after its third season.
