Local Police Won't Investigate Oyster River Baseball Rumor, So MLB Is

This isn't just any silly rumor anymore -- this just got stepped up to the big leagues. Literally.

After learning about the allegations that a couple of Oyster River Youth Association coaches were planning on intimidating a female player out of the league by having one of their pitchers throw a fastball at the girl's head, Major League Baseball is stepping in and conducting their own investigation through USA Baseball, who oversees amateur baseball in the States.
