Spaulding High Students And Teachers Do Good For Parkland

THIS.

THIS is what it's all about, man. While some students in area schools were creating their own threats or rumored hit-lists in the days after the Parkland shooting went down, Spaulding High was setting the bar.

Over 2 days last week, students passed buckets through classrooms to collect money to donate to Marjory Stoneham Douglas High School. And after those 2 days, the final 2 days before February vacation week, $3,271 was collected. That money, along with a custom-engraved leadership award and a Spaulding Junior ROTC unit coin were all hand-delivered to Stoneham Douglas yesterday.

I feel like I say this all the time, but it's because we do so much damn good in this area. SO proud of being on the Seacoast right now and seeing all the self-less giving that everyone does. Y'all are heroes.
