I LOVE this idea!
RuthAnne Winders is a teacher at Dover Middle School who decided to reinvent the boring old book report. Because, really, how "exciting" is it for both a teacher reading and a student writing to read a book then turn around and write about it?
Mrs. Winders had her students switch it up by creating a t-shirt billboard of their books, with key points of the teacher-approved books they read being drawn or pinned onto their t-shirts, while they actually verbally presented their book reports to their class.
