It's pretty safe to say my favorite time to drive in downtown Dover is the weekend because of the whole free parking life. Driving after 7p makes me a happy panda, too, since that's the cut off for needing to feed the meters.
At least, for now.
Voting will happen tonight (Wednesday) to institute an hour extension to the meter cut off, making the need to feed a meter to park downtown last until 8p instead of the current 7p cut off. Apparently, it could make Dover an extra $80,000.
