Boston And Philly Are Supporting Their Teams By Banning Products

posted by Jadd -

Friendly sports rivalries are hilarious, especially when local businesses get involved. The Esplanade Authority in Boston has decided to ban all-things Philadelphia until after the Patriots play the Eagles in the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb 4th. That list includes: ANY Philly sports apparel, Philadelphia cream cheese (other cream cheese is cool, though), eagles, soft pretzels, cheesesteaks, and more!

In return, Dottie's Donuts in Philly has decided to ban the Boston Cream Donut and any other New England-themed donut until after the game, as noted in their Facebook post below.

Until the eagles win the super bowl we won’t be serving our Boston cream donuts or any other “New England themed” donuts. Replacing the boston cream is our cookies and cream donut. #goeagles🏈 #gobirds🦅
