Right after James Franco won a Golden Globe earlier this month, allegations of sexual assault were tossed his way, which he's said are wrong. (He especially looked bad since he was rocking a "Time's Up" pin at the Globes, as well.)
No one thought James would attend the SAG Awards because of the claims, but he actually DID show up, skipping the red carpet. Of course, there was a chance he'd have to stand up on stage and deliver a speech on national TV if he won for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role.
He ended up losing to Gary Oldman -- and James couldn't have seemed happier and more relieved.
