Peyton, Eli Manning to Headline Alternate Monday Night Football Broadcast

Former NFL quarterbacks and brothers Eli and Peyton Manning will reportedly be calling games in an alternate Monday Night Football broadcast on ESPN 2. The deal has the two calling 10 games in each of the next 3 seasons on what has been dubbed the "Monday Night Football MegaCast."

Peyton has been rumored to be eying the broadcast booth following his retirement and that it was only a matter of time before fans would see him there. Monday Night Football's main broadcast will not feature the two quarterback brothers however, staying with the crew of Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick, Lisa Salters and John Parry for the second straight year.

But it's hard to imagine that the main ESPN broadcast will do better than the tandem Manning broadcast as fans have been sour on ESPN's host choices in recent year. It has been rumored though that the "Megacast" will not be televised on-location, that the broadcast will be filmed in a studio.

The MegaCast will debut on September 13th during the Mondau Night Football matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Las Vegas Raiders.
