Police are warning people about a new type of heroin that's so deadly, it can kill someone who simply touches it. Appropriately named "gray death," the new strain of heroin is about 10,000 times more potent than morphine, according to police in Louisiana, where the drug was recently discovered. "The super drug began to surface in the south in Alabama and Georgia,” a statement released by the Saint Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office reads. "A minuscule amount of this drug, which has the appearance of small chunks of concrete, can kill." Authorities say anyone who comes across grey death should "never pick up or touch this drug." Instead, they suggest leave it where you found it and call police. Why would users want a drug that's 10,000 times more powerful than morphine? Will the war on drugs always be a losing battle because new drugs are constantly replacing old ones?
