Papi Place. Pedro Place. Manny Drive. BOSTON STRONG WAY. Maybe even "Remembrance Way" with pictures or one of those golden plaques with carved images of Sean Collier, Krystle Campbell, Martin Richard, and Liu Lingzi on it. Ya know, something that MEANS SOMETHING to the city.
But Jersey Street? I get that's what it was named before it was switched to Yawkey Way, but HOW DO YOU NOT PAY TRIBUTE TO THE CITY WITH THE RE-NAME? Instead, you pick basically a name of a state that's THE HOME OF THE YANKEES.
Y'all missed a HUGE opportunity, Boston.
