I.T. returns to the Garden tonight for the first time since the playoffs last year, which were cut short for him after a hip labral tear, but he won't be playing. He made his debut for the Cavs last night, but is on a no back-to-back game restriction to start his return, which leaves him on the bench for tonight.
And that's more or less the reason he doesn't want the C's to air his tribute video tonight when the Cavs are in town -- he wants to be able to play in the game and for he and his family to be able to fully enjoy the moment.
